Start your day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira at 8:00 AM. Cross the Houaz Planes to the village of Sidi Lmokhtar just west of Marrakech. Take a coffee break and pass by the area's unique argan tree forest. Here you can see goats climbing trees for argan nuts. Before heading to Val d'Arguin, a vineyard founded by French wine lovers, you can stop at a local cooperative that processes argan oil. If you so choose, you can enjoy a glass of wine before departing for Essaouira. Upon arrival, meet your local guide who will introduce you to the city. Visit the Medina, Mera (Old Jewish Quarter), Kasbah (Old Military Fortress) and Fishing Port. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon at your leisure to enjoy the beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere of the city, and enjoy a cup of coffee or mint tea while listening to atmospheric Gnawa music at the famous Moulay El Hassan Square.
