Before returning to Marrakech city, you will end your 10 days in Morocco itinerary on the broad by exploring the largest cities in Morocco Rabat and Casablanca.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Marrakech

The first day of our 10 days Morocco itinerary from Marrakech to Merzouga desert will start with the driver who  going to pick you up from Marrakech airport then transfer you to your hotel, we may visit the best places in Marrakech city, it depends on your arrival time. This tour is a unique chance to pass into the Marrakech heart and soul and learn how to bargain for a good deal and worthy stuff, dinner, and overnight at the hotel or riad.

Day 2: Explore Marrakech

In this sightseeing full-day tour, you are going to explore Marrakech city. Immerse yourself into history, enjoy the art and culture of this outstanding pink city surrounded by walls. Take pictures of the beautiful Koutoubia mosque with its great square tower and shining copper globes. You will stroll over the bustling alleyways, see the mosques, traditional bakeries, ancient lodging houses, and fountains engraved with wood.

Then we head to visit Ben Youssef Madrassa one of the largest theological colleges in Africa north with its fabulous achievement of Moorish architecture. You'll experience again the weather of a wonderful time in the exquisite rooms and lush pleasure gardens of the Bahia Palace.

Your tour will be finished at the lively Jamaa El Fana square which is considered a traditional meeting place for musicians, including storytellers, snake charmers, and entertainers with performing monkeys make it a lively hub of activity, dinner, and the second night will be at the hotel or riad.

Day 3: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Boumalne Dades

Today we will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive towards Ouarzazate via the pass of Tizi N'Tichka at 2260m along the High Atlas Mountains, while we cross the Berber villages, you will enjoy the landscapes on the way. You will also have the opportunity to discover the process of producing the argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative.

We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is a UNESCO historical site and the largest Kasbah in Morocco. We will have lunch at the Kasbah before we continue to Dades valley through Ouarzazate, called the Hollywood of Africa. We will pass over the route of the thousand Kasbahs before we stop at Kalaat Mgouna which is an annual festival during May and famous for its roses.

 We will spend the night in the heart of the Dades gorges in the local riad or hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 4: Boumalne Dades - Gorges Todgha - Merzouga Desert

After your breakfast in the riad, we'll drive via the valley to see the process of rock formation which is called “the monkey toes”. Leaving the Dades valley behind and heading towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, we'll see the panoramic sights of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley.

After we arrive at the Gorge, you'll go for a walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rockclimbers come to practice their favorite sport. We continue our trip to Erfoud and Rissani, the place of your lunch, and then leave to Merzouga village, where your camel will be waiting for you.

 You'll be welcomed with a cup of mint tea and a desert scarf before your camel ride starts heading to the ambiguous sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi, guided by an experienced camel guide. Here you will spend your night under the clear sky stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Tour

Waking up early to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert, then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can take a shower.

 You will have a tour of the dunes on 4x4 allowing you to visit handcrafted items such as the black volcanic rocks of fossils, nomad family living in a tent, Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayate Sarji that forms in springtime which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. You will have a break for lunch in Merzouga.

 After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. Stick to your hotel or riad for a shower and relax, dinner, and the night at the hotel or riad.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Fes

In the morning, after your breakfast and shower in the local guest house we'll drive to Fes through Errachidia over the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved via the volcanic rock, and the pass of Tizi N'Talghamt to Midelt, we'll stop in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh yourself with a cup of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we'll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest of Azrou.

Afterward, we continue to Ifrane which is called the French village or the Switzerland of Morocco, before arriving at your accommodation in Fes we stop for a picture or a drink, dinner, and overnight at the hotel or riad in Fes.

Day 7: Explore Fes

After breakfast you will meet our local guide of Fes to enjoy a full-day tour, it is considered as the heritage of humanity of the oldest imperial cities, it was founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital. We start to visit the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace.

Afterward, from a high point, we observe the wall that encloses an impressive old medina. Then we will travel on foot to experience hundreds of feelings revolted. You will explore mosques and madrassas, and religious places until the district of the tanners. Your free time for lunch is not included, we continue our trip to visit the neighborhood of artisans.

They brought their knowledge from Spain and kept the Andalusian art and style to this day, Fes is giving the deserved name of the artisan's city. Dinner and overnight at hotel or riad.

Day 8: Fes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will leave Fes towards Chefchaouen with a stop in the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is entombed, after finishing your lunch, we leave to Meknes, which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and known as "The Moroccan Versailles". Your night at riad in Chefchaouen

Day 9: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca

After breakfast and a free tour of Chefchaouen (the blue pearl), the Square of OUTA Hamam, and the amazing streets of the city, you'll have a break lunch at a Moroccan restaurant of your choice, before we go to Rabat, to visit the highlight remnants in Rabat, then we continue to Casablanca city which is the economic capital of Morocco. Overnight at the hotel in Casablanca.

Day 10: Casablanca - Marrakech

The last day will start with a tour around Casablanca to visit the Mosque of Hassan II (external visit), before driving to Marrakech, you will enjoy the Cornish or the seaboard part of the city.
