 We will then continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at a panoramic viewpoint at the highest point of the pass (2,260 m). Next, we will pass by the Kasbah of Telouet and arrive at Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village that is considered one of the best filming locations in Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Kingdom of Heaven have been shot there.

 We will stop for lunch and explore Ait Benhaddou before heading to Boumalne Dades and the Dades Gorges, where we will spend the night.

Next, we explore the renowned kohl mines in the M’Ifiss region, formerly managed by the French administration. As we continue, we unveil the desert’s most breathtaking panoramic vistas, allowing you to revel in its boundless beauty. Our adventure takes us to another unique way of life as we visit the Gnawa people, originally hailing from Mali and Gabon, and now settled in parts of Morocco, such as Khamlia, our next destination.

The Gnaoua people are celebrated for their warm hospitality and will treat you to mesmerizing music and captivating traditional dances. Before concluding the day, we venture to discover some of the famous desert oases, offering a refreshing contrast to the arid landscape. Finally, we will transport you to your accommodation

This time, our journey leads us back to Ouarzazate via an alternate route. We initiate our drive by traveling through the enchanting landscapes of Rissani, adorned with thousands of swaying palm trees. A brief stopover in this city reveals one of the largest traditional Souks  (Markets) in the southeastern region of Morocco.

Continuing on, we traverse through a myriad of picturesque Berber villages, each brimming with its unique charm. Around midday, our expedition pauses in Nkob, where we savor a delightful lunch. To culminate this leg of the journey, we visit the colossal Daraa valley, home to the largest river in Morocco.

Commencing the final day of our itinerary, we will commence by touring Ouarzazate, fondly referred to as the “Ouallywood of Morocco.”

This destination is undoubtedly worth the visit, and we will dedicate a significant portion of our day to its exploration. The crown jewel of this city is undeniably the Atlas Studios, a renowned attraction in the region. Ouarzazate has achieved global acclaim as an ideal location for the filming of movies and series. It has been the backdrop for several renowned productions, including iconic series such as Game Of Thrones and Prison Break.
