Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir - Marrakech

The city of Agadir will be the starting point for our 5-day desert excursion. We’ll travel to
Marrakech, stopping along the route to take in the sights. We will be taken on a guided
tour of Marrakech by a native guide. We’ll go to Bahia Place, Menara Garden, and the
Saadian Tombs, where Sultan Ahmad al Mansur and his family are laid to rest. The
Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa El-Fnaa plaza will also be visited. Snake charmers and
other street performers perform there. We’ll visit the Majorelle Garden afterward. The latter
is a lively garden with Andalusian art and other fascinating objects. Finally, we will
transport you to your lodging.

Day 2: Marrakech - Boumalne Dades

We will travel to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou on this day of our 5-day desert trip from Agadir. We’ll travel through Tizi-N-Tichka on the route. There, we’ll take in some panoramic vistas and, if you’re interested, visit an Argan oil cooperative. We will next proceed to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It also serves as a caravan route connecting Marrakech and the Sahara. Both Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed on that spot, which attracts filmmakers from all over the world. We’ll go to Ouarzazate to view the Atlas Studios after your Kasbah tour. After that, we’ll journey to the Rose Valley, where the Rose Festival takes place every May. At the conclusion of the day, we’ll go to Skoura and then to Dades, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades - Merzouga Desert

Following your breakfast, we will begin our 5-day vacation from Agadir to Merzouga’s desert. Before that, we’ll travel to Tinghir’s oasis and halt at the Todgha Gorges. You’ll get free time to stroll around the valleys between 300-meter-high cliffs. Rock climbers from all over the world are drawn to the area. After that, we’ll visit a Berber clothing cooperative in Touroug, a Berber town. After that, we travel to Jorf to learn about a traditional way of watering palm trees. Then we’ll travel to Erfoud. We shall arrive at Merzouga desert in the end of the day. You’ll spend the night in authentic Berber tents after riding camels over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Under a stunning starry sky, you may listen to Berber music performed by locals at night

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Ouarzazate

We will return to Ouarzazate on the fourth day of our five-day desert journey from Agadir.
After a shower and breakfast, you’ll return to where you started on your camels to resume
your journey. On the way, we’ll stop at Rissani to look around its historic market and see
what it has to offer. After that, we’ll head to Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob. We’ll eat lunch there
before traveling to the Draa Valley. Morocco’s longest river is the latter. We’ll also pause to
take in the breathtaking views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Finally, we’ll arrive in
Ouarzazate and transport you to your hotel.

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Agadir

We will return you to Agadir on the last day of your 5-day Morocco tour program. At
Taznakht, we’ll make a pit stop. This Berber community is noted for its carpet weaving and
other crafts that can be seen here. We’ll then travel to Taliouine, which contains a saffron
field. We’ll see its saffron cooperative before traveling to Taroudant village. It’s also known
as Little Marrakech due to its resemblance to Marrakech. We will get the opportunity to
tour the old Medina. The city of Agadir will be the final stop on our 5-day desert tour
itinerary.
