Travel on our popular 3-day journey from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert, commencing in the vibrant city of Marrakech. Throughout this adventure, we will explore the enchanting sights of Morocco, including the formidable Kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and the renowned Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate.
The pinnacle of this excursion is undoubtedly the camel trek into the Merzouga desert, culminating in an overnight stay at a traditional Berber camp. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert landscape and savor a starlit dinner by the campfire.
On the third day, we’ll return to Marrakech via a different route, making stops at additional picturesque locations along the way.
Following breakfast, embark on the 1000 Kasbahs route towards Tinghir. Upon reaching this enchanting haven, take a leisurely stroll along the Todgha River banks, exploring Berber villages and Ksours along the way. The grandeur of the massive cliffs in the Todgha canyons will affirm the value of your morning excursion.
Indulge in a delightful Berber lunch amidst the Gorges before continuing your journey to Merzouga. Upon arrival at Erg Chebbi, rendezvous with your camel caravan at the road's end. Traverse the color-shifting dunes on your camel to witness a breathtaking sunset.
As darkness falls, reach your Sahara desert tent, and after setting it up, ascend one of the nearby dunes to relish the tranquility of the desert. A well-deserved Moroccan meal will be served under the stars. Prepare to test your drumming skills with the nomads around the campfire. Your hosts will regale you with Tamtam drums, and the nearby dunes will provide a perfect vantage point for witnessing a spectacular display of shooting stars and crystal-clear constellations.

After breakfast at your luxury camp, you will mount your camels and ride back to
Merzouga. Since you are returning to Marrakech, you will need to leave early, around
8:00 AM. You will drive a different route back, passing through the town of Alnif, where
you will stop for lunch in Nkob. After lunch, you will continue driving directly to
Marrakech via the Ait-Saouen Pass. Your tour will end with your drop-off in the Red City
Marrakech.
