Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech - Merzouga Via Dades

Travel on our delightful 2-Day Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech, starting with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation or a designated meeting point. Our journey unfolds amidst the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, where the first spectacle is the Tizi nTichka pass (2260m). Here, we pause to explore various Argan oil cooperatives. Continuing our route, we reach Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its distinctive towers and clay architecture, providing an ideal backdrop for film productions. A leisurely stop allows you to unwind and explore this captivating location.

The expedition from Marrakech to Merzouga persists, leading you to a top-notch restaurant in Ouarzazate for lunch, reminiscent of the previous one. Ouarzazate is home to Atlas Studios, a hub for film production and equipment rentals, with notable projects like Game of Thrones and Prison Break shot in the city. Following our visit to Atlas Studios, we proceed to Boumalne Dades 

Take a leisurely stroll along the Todgha River's banks, immersing yourself in the charm of Berber villages and Ksours. As you reach the awe-inspiring massive cliffs of Todgha canyons, the rewards of your morning exploration become evident.

Indulge in a delightful Berber lunch at your own pace amidst the enchanting Gorges before making your way to Merzouga. Upon arriving at Erg Chebbi, rendezvous with your camel caravan at the road's end. Embark on a camel ride across the ever-shifting dunes, witnessing one of nature's most breathtaking spectacles—the sunset.

As darkness descends, reach your Sahara desert tent, skillfully setting it up before ascending one of the nearby dunes to savor the tranquility of the desert. Beneath the star-studded sky, relish a well-deserved Moroccan meal. The evening takes a musical turn as you join the nomads in a drumming session around the campfire. Let the nearby dunes be your backdrop for witnessing a dazzling display of shooting stars and crystal-clear constellations.

Day 2: Merzouga - Marrakech via Alnif

Following a sumptuous breakfast at your upscale camp, you'll travel on a camel ride, retracing your steps back to Merzouga. As you're heading back to Marrakech, an early departure at 8:00 AM is necessary. The return journey will take a different path, leading you through the town of Alnif, where a lunch break awaits you in Nkob. Post-lunch, your route will proceed directly to Marrakech, passing through the scenic Ait-Saouen Pass. Your memorable tour concludes with your drop-off in the vibrant Red City, Marrakech.
