Day 1: Arrival Marrakech

Day 2: Explore Marrakech

From there, our path leads us to Meknes, the fourth of Morocco’s imperial cities, steeped in 17th-century heritage. We pause for a delightful lunch and explore the medina’s historic colossal walls. Following our midday meal, we encounter the grandeur of Bab el Mansour and bask in the lively ambiance of Lhdim Square. Our journey continues with a visit to Meknes before a direct drive to the enchanting city of Fes, where you will spend the night, immersing yourself in its timeless allure.

Day 8: Fes - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Following breakfast, we departed from Fes and embarked on a journey that led us through Ifrane and into the cedar forests of Azrou, where you’ll encounter wild monkeys, providing a splendid opportunity to capture Morocco’s untamed landscapes through your lens. Our lunch break was enjoyed in Zaida, a charming Berber village, after which we continued our ascent through the Atlas Mountains ,savoring the breathtaking panoramas of Medilt. Our route unfurled towards the quaint town of Rich and eventually Erfoud, marking the commencement of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. From there, our path led us onward to the enchanting destination of Merzouga. Here, we found respite and shelter for the night in a hotel or riad, nestled amid the mesmerizing landscapes of this desert town.

Day 9: Merzouga Desert Tour

Today, as part of your 12-day desert tour from Marrakech, we delve into the heart of the desert. Our journey commences with a visit to the village of Khamlia, home to the descendants of Sudanese slaves. Here, you’ll gain insights into their way of life and enjoy their mesmerizing music.

Day 11: Boumalne Dades - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
